Got some new OE-style motor mounts, OEM bolts, and Skunk2 lower control arms. I was fairly surprised to see a brand name considering how cheap these were off of eBay. Milled billet aluminum with black poly bushings instead of rubber. Look like the inner sleeves are stainless, too. Can’t wait to put all this in, hopefully Sunday.

As a cheap mod I wanted to upgrade my stock motor mounts to “Mazda competition” mounts. In addition to my mechanic saying my stock mounts were shot it made a huge difference. High RPM shifting got soo much smoother.

yeah but these D16 motors shake a LOT at idle with the A/C on, and I’m not a huge fan of that getting transferred to the cabin.

You can use those as the basis of your DIY Ferrari build!

Guess it kinda depends on the mounts. Other owners said the same mounts I got increased noise and vibration, but I haven’t noticed any difference from when I first bought the car.

I’ll admit to not getting this reference

No reference... just silliness. But I was thinking about the guy who built a Lambo Countach in his basement.
